Ghostwriting

Book a Call to Discuss Your Needs

Some books begin as a fully formed draft. Others begin as an idea, a lived experience, a message, or a story you can’t stop carrying, but don’t yet have the time, structure, or bandwidth to write alone.

At The Soulful Literary Studio, we provide high-touch ghostwriting for writers and leaders who want to bring meaningful work into the world with clarity, professionalism, and depth—without losing the voice that makes it uniquely theirs.

This is not generic content creation.

It’s craftsmanship, strategy, and deep collaboration.

Because the best ghostwriting doesn’t sound like the ghostwriter. It sounds like you at your clearest and most powerful.

What We Ghostwrite

We work across a wide range of genres, categories, and publishing goals, including:

  • Nonfiction (leadership, personal development, business, spiritual growth, parenting, health, creative work, and more)

  • Memoir (legacy storytelling, transformation journeys, healing narratives, life experiences)

  • Fiction (plot-driven, character-driven, commercial fiction, genre fiction, and more)

  • Rewrites and book doctoring (for manuscripts that need structural reshaping or major revision support)

  • Series development and concept creation (for authors building an expansive body of work)

If your project doesn’t fit neatly into a category, that’s often a sign it’s exactly the kind of work we’re built for.

Our Philosophy

We believe words carry weight.

For many authors (especially those writing from lived experience, spiritual conviction, or hard-won wisdom) this isn’t just “a book.” It’s heartwork. It’s legacy work. It’s work that changes lives.

Our role is to help you shape that work with discernment:

  • protecting the integrity of your voice

  • strengthening the structure and impact

  • positioning it for the readers it’s meant to serve

We bring both reverence and rigor to the process.

How Ghostwriting Works

1. Vision + Strategy

We begin with a kickoff session to clarify:

  • what the book is truly about

  • who it’s for

  • what transformation, insight, or experience it delivers

  • how it should be structured for the market and the reader

You don’t need to have everything figured out. That’s part of what we do.

2. Materials Gathering

We collect what you already have, such as:

  • notes, outlines, drafts, or sample chapters

  • podcast episodes, transcripts, talks, teachings

  • personal stories and key experiences

  • research, frameworks, case studies

  • tone references (books you love, authors you admire, etc.)

This is where your raw material becomes a plan.

3. Outline + Architecture

Before pages are written, we create a strong blueprint:

  • chapter structure

  • narrative pacing

  • reader promise and throughline

  • the voice and tone we’re preserving

This step is one of the reasons our ghostwriting feels cohesive, not patched together.

4. Writing + Collaboration

We draft the manuscript in stages and share pages with you throughout the process for review and feedback—so the book stays aligned, accurate, and unmistakably yours.

We don’t just write for you. We write with you.

5. Revision + Polish

Once the draft is complete, we revise for:

  • clarity

  • emotional resonance

  • voice consistency

  • pacing and flow

  • message integrity

  • reader engagement

The goal is a manuscript that feels true, professional, and ready for its next stage, whether that’s submission, editing, or publication.

What Sets Our Ghostwriting Apart

  • Voice-Protective Craft. We do not replace your voice—we refine it.
Our goal is for readers to feel your presence on the page.

  • Market-Aware Strategy. We shape books with real-world publishing realities in mind, so the work can land with the audience it’s meant for.

  • Structure That Holds the Weight. Beautiful ideas need structure. Strong structure is what makes books readable, shareable, and unforgettable.

  • Soul + Professionalism. We care deeply about meaningful work, and we know how to make it compelling, clear, and competitive.

Who This Is Best For

Ghostwriting is a strong fit if you are:

  • an author with a powerful idea and limited writing time

  • a professional, teacher, or thought leader ready to publish

  • writing a memoir or story that carries emotional weight

  • building a platform, program, or long-term body of work

  • seeking high-level collaboration and expert guidance

Important Notes on Scope

To protect quality and creative integrity:

  • All ghostwriting projects begin with an intake review and consultation

  • Timelines and pricing vary based on length, complexity, and deliverables

  • Ghostwriting does not include agent submission or publisher outreach unless separately arranged

  • NDA/confidentiality options are available upon request

  • Includes two revision rounds after delivery of the complete draft. A final polish pass is included for cohesion and consistency. Additional revisions are available at an hourly rate.

  • Process looks like:

    • Outline approval

    • First 1–2 chapters approval (voice + tone lock)

    • Midpoint check-in

    • Full draft delivery

    • Revision Round 1

    • Revision Round 2

    • Final polish
